At BCL Legal the majority of our consultants come from a legal background with either academic or practical experience, which alongside our thorough and inside market knowledge of the regions makes us the best placed to address your needs. For example I have completed the LLB Law with Business at the University of Birmingham and have conducted various legal placements in Manchester, Birmingham & in London. Where as some of my colleagues are trained solicitors with a few years PQE who have specialised legal knowledge in particular disciplines.
Our job is to work closely with our longstanding clients who are private practice legal firms or firms with in house legal opportunities or alternative business structures. We are then assigned regions and particular disciplines to work within. For example I manage the insurance personal injury and residential conveyancing desk across the Midlands. Similarly in our Manchester office we have consultants specifically assigned to deal with commercial, corporate and personal injury positions in that region. As we offer a dedicated and focussed service we have good access to up to date market information on what roles are available and who is currently looking and is immediately available.
To make your life easier we will conduct the initial interview process through the registration call when you register with us as a candidate, in order to find out exactly what you are looking for, where you are looking to go and what is the best way to find it. This way we ensure that our clients are aware of the expectations of candidates and vice versa on application and before they are invited to interview. As a candidate your career is also our journey and we will be there to assist you in every aspect possible.
