  • Cripps LLP has announced that commercial real estate specialist Clare Hyland has been elected as senior partner of the firm from 1st May 2016.
  • Nicola McConville has joined Penningtons Manches as a partner in the Reading office. Specialising in corporate and technology, she was previously a partner at a regional law firm for eight years.
  • Andrew Ash has joined Withy King as a partner and head of the construction and engineering team. Ash handles high profile cases for UK and internationally-based clients, including utilities companies, commercial and residential property developers, contractors and specialist sub-contractors many of whom work in the rail, energy, renewables and offshore construction industries.
  • Downs Solicitors has appointed Julian Harvey as a partner in the corporate and commercial department.
  • The Southampton office of Clarke Willmott has expanded its private client team with the appointment of solicitor Katy Sewell who joins the private capital team to advise on the preparation of wills, administration of estates and trust management.
  • Lester Aldridge has announced that two newly qualified solicitors, Sian Rowland and Jackie Rushton, and a new associate solicitor, Emily Harvey, have joined the firm’s real estate team based at its Southampton office. Harvey has ten years’ experience in real estate and joins from another Southampton firm.

Lucy Fisher specialises in advising high net worth clients on drafting wills, lasting power of attorney, Court of Protection work, estate planning and administration of estates, and has also advised families with a mix of business interests, farming assets and property overseas. Dominic Ibbs advises on wills, trusts, estate planning, powers of attorney, deputyships and other applications to the Court of Protection, and the administration of estates.
