Tracy qualified as a solicitor in 1995 after gaining a 2.1 law degree, passing the Law Society finals and completing a two year training contract with a leading South West practice in Bristol. Transferring her knowledge of the legal market to legal recruitment, Tracy joined a Nottingham based legal recruitment consultancy in 1996 before relocating and spending an initial 6 months with a specialist legal recruitment consultancy in Birmingham. She was subsequently approached to set up and manage the Birmingham office for a Manchester legal recruitment consultancy in June 1998, becoming a Director in 2000. In November 2003, Tracy set up her own legal recruitment consultancy specialising in the permanent and interim placement of solicitors, legal executives and experienced paralegals across the Midlands.

Joining BCL Legal’s Birmingham office in January 2015 as a senior associate, Tracy specialises in the recruitment of solicitors and legal executives into private practice law firms across the South Midlands, Home Counties and Thames Valley region. Tracy has placed candidates from NQ to partner level and has experience in assisting international, national, regional and local law firms with all aspects of their recruitment.
