Senior Counsel - 7 + PQE - Global Manufacturer - Remote

Are you an experienced senior commercial lawyer seeking a step up in responsibility and excited by the prospect of international travel to sunnier climates? Our client is a multi-division, global manufacturing business seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to lead on business critical commercial contracts. Reporting into the Global Head of Legal, you will be responsible for: - leading on the drafting, review and negotiation of key customer and supplier contracts with both a UK and international focus; - work closely with and advise key decision makers in the organisation; - leading the commercial contract negotiations on tenders for new customers and contract renewals; - managing pre-litigation disputes; and - keeping legal operations, policies and procedures up to date. In terms of the who this opportunity will suit, the business is fast paced and so they are seeking someone who can balance legal risk versus commercial reward and understands the commercial drivers! Ideally you will have in-house experience in relevant tangible sectors such as industry/manufacturing, transport/logistics, energy/utilities/infrastructure, retail. The base salary is reflective of this being a senior position and is offering fully remote working with an expectation of frequent international travel.
