A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced procurement solicitor to join a leading national team. This procurement role would be well suited to a solicitor looking to take the next step in their legal career with a firm renowned for its innovative legal solutions, diverse sector coverage, and commitment to professional development.
The Role
Market leading Procurement practice led by an industry recognised Partner
Working with a broad client base and strong reputation across the public, private, and third sectors
Exposure to cutting-edge procurement matters and substantial career development potential
Working within an established team providing practical, strategic procurement advice to clients operating in sectors such as housing, healthcare, energy, local government, and infrastructure
Advising on a full range of procurement law matters, including complex procurement strategy, tender processes, evaluation, and compliance with Public, Utilities, and Concessions Regulations, as well as the new Procurement Act and Provider Selection Regime.
Drafting key procurement documentation: PINs, ITTs, PQQs, award notices, contract clauses, and procedural guidelines.
Supporting both contracting authorities and bidders on all aspects of the procurement lifecycle.
Requirements:
UK-qualified solicitor with strong technical expertise in public procurement and a real passion for the field
3-5 years' PQE in procurement law, ideally gained in a leading national or regional practice
Strong understanding of public procurement regulations and developing legal frameworks, including the Procurement Act.
Experience advising on procurement strategies and disputes in sectors such as housing, local government, health, or energy.
