Bank Holidays

Long weekends are always great because we all get to do those jobs we put to one side because we are just too busy in the week and exhausted at the weekend. Things like, cleaning out the kitchen cupboards, painting one of the bedrooms, sorting the garage or going to the tip. If you have got an eye on moving, amongst those jobs will be writing your CV.

We always find that our clients return from the bank holiday rearing to go and rearing to fill their jobs! So for instance, we already have a number of interviews booked in across May despite how many bank holidays there are. Over the last couple of days the North West Conveyancing team has been instructed on a number of very interesting and diverse conveyancing roles from in house paralegal positions to head of department roles as well as transactional conveyancing positons and remortgage positions across Manchester, Liverpool, the Wirral and Bolton.

Whilst you are away from the office, it is so easy to forget the motivations that you have to consider moving jobs and it is even easier to delay doing anything about it. However, this weekend is a great time to do so as the conveyancing market is really busy. I recently read an article that said that sales agreed had reached its highest point since 2007 so with this in mind, don’t hang about. Use your time wisely and between painting the house and sipping wine in the garden in the sun (fingers crossed), make sure you update your CV and send it over to BCL Legal.
