Focus on In House Legal Privilege

BCL Legal has recently been promoting an excellent round of in house CPD accredited seminars, hosted by Addleshaw Goddard, and which have proved so popular that new dates have been scheduled to accommodate the high interest.

Along with compliance and regulatory matters, legal privilege is a hot topic for in house counsel, and there has been much interest in the discussion on practical advice on how to maintain the protection of legal privilege, and what are the key do’s and don’ts.

Addleshaw Goddard Partners, Bill Gilliam and Susan Garrett, were key speakers and discussed the various types of privilege, considerations for in-house lawyers, loss and waiver of privilege and the dos and don'ts to maintain the protection of legal privilege.

Having initially run this event in Manchester, it was also presented to the Yorkshire in house legal community. The seminar was so well received we have duplicated the event so we will welcome another c40 in house lawyers on the morning of Tuesday 18th March.

There was hugely positive feedback, with one of the attendees commenting “I thought you tailored the content perfectly for in-house counsel and got the balance between black letter law and practical tips exactly right. I attend a number of seminars and can honestly say you were both amongst the best presenters I have seen… The entire operation (including front of house staff and facilities) was very well executed and was a credit to Addleshaw Goddard.)”

BCL Legal is delighted to partner with Addleshaws on these events. There are just a few places left for the Tuesday 18th March session so if the subject matter strike a cord with you and you would like to attend, please get in contact as soon as possible.
