The Yorkshire legal market is booming. As we leave Easter well and truly behind and accelerate into summer there’s a renewed optimism evident in the number of instructions we’ve had. This year to date opportunities are up 25% since 2014 across many practice areas.For a legal professionals, it’s an exciting place to be. There are opportunities within all of the leading national and regional firms and the NQ roles are flooding in.
This year, as per 2014, corporate, commercial and real estate lawyers are in are high demand. Perhaps the biggest positive we’ve seen since last year is the rise in litigation roles. At the commercial firms, opportunities are presenting themselves across contentious IP, employment, banking litigation, construction litigation and insolvency.
Firms are being competitive with their salaries and benefits schemes in order to be an attractive option for solicitors with an eye on the market.
