Jingle & Mingle Event

Christmas is always a great time to get into the festive spirit and embrace the opportunity to attend one (or lots!) of the numerous social events. Last Thursday, BCL Legal sponsored the MJLD Christmas drinks event ‘Jingle and mingle’ held at Jenny’s Bar in Liverpool. The only request was to don your favourite Christmas jumper and come down for a drink.

With RSVP’s at 90 MJLD members the night looked set to be a success and I think it was just that. We had various raffles and of course the eagerly awaited Christmas jumper contest won in great style by a Christmas jumper with a homemade element. As always (and most importantly) the night was held to raise money for this years’ charity Claire House Children’s Hospice http://www.claire-house.org.uk/. Through the generous contributions of the members a total of £169.86 was raised for what I’m sure we all agree is a fantastic cause.
