LFS Conveyancing awards 2015!!

It is almost that time of year again for the Law Firm Services annual residential conveyancing conference and awards which will this year be held for the first time at the MK Stadium in Milton Keynes.

As a specialist residential conveyancing recruiter across the Midlands, the Law Firm Services (LFS) conveyancing conference and awards is a very important (if not the most important) event for conveyancing professionals of all levels. Here at BCL Legal we have been lucky enough to be one of the only recruiters to sponsor the event in the past few years which gives the specialist team here the opportunity to meet with lots of clients and conveyancers outside of the office environment. The event is not a only a great way to network with likeminded professionals but it also gives lawyers the chance to earn CPD points.

During the day, there are a number of fantastic speakers before the black tie gala dinner in the evening which is always tremendous fun and well worth the groggy head in the morning! The highlight of the evening being the awards ceremony with coveted titles including ‘young conveyancer of the year’, ‘best conveyancing team’ and the most highly sought accolade of ‘overall conveyancing practice of the year’.

Over the last two years the conveyancing market has seen significant growth with most firm’s conveyancing departments being stretched in terms of capacity and looking to recruit in order to cover the shortfall. Entries for the LFS Conference conveyancing awards have also seen a huge increase in applications of nearly 50%. Fierce competition on the high street for conveyancing firms is clearly mirrored at the awards.
