Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division Charity ‘Espionage’ Ball
We at BCL Legal like to be involved in supporting junior lawyer groups and so on Saturday night we joined the celebrations as headline sponsor for this year’s Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division Charity Ball. Entitled ‘Espionage’, the event was held at The Hilton Hotel in Liverpool.
Over 300 of Merseyside’s finest young legal talent attended and the night consisted of a drinks reception, dinner, raffle, entertainment and a casino. The nominated charity for 2013 was the Craniofacial Department of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and as part of the speeches we learnt all about the inspiring work undertaken by the charity, there was certainly no doubt that this is an exceptionally worthy cause (I believe that a large amount was raised on the night).
The party carried on till late with the band belting out some classics, there was certainly some excellent (and the not so…) moves being made on the dance floor. It was clear that the Liverpool legal talent know how to have fun and it was great to be part of such a great night. I can’t wait for the next event……
