MJLD Rio Carnival Ball

Saturday night at the Liverpool Hilton Hotel and the scene was set for this year’s Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division annual ball. As ever no-one left disappointed. This year’s theme was Rio Carnival and on arrival guests were greeted by @Sambalivre a Brazilian inspired dance troupe who were the very embodiment of fun and enthusiasm.

BCL Legal were once again proud to sponsor the drinks reception and the Hilton delivered with a very potent caipirinha that set the tone for the evening.

MJLD’s members didn’t disappoint either and turned up in all their finery as the photos below evidence.

As well as being a fantastic opportunity to mingle with the MJLD members the evening also managed to raise significant money for the MJLD’s nominated charity CHICS (www.chics.org.uk) , a very worthwhile cause that provides support and self-help for parents of children with cancer across Liverpool and Cheshire.

The evening ran like clock-work, the food was fantastic and the dancing went on until late.

A massive thank you to the MJLD committee members who managed to create a memorable fun evening and we look forward to returning next year.
