Wine tasting evening with the Leeds JLD

As always, a good time was had by all at the Leeds JLD committee wine tasting event sponsored by BCL Legal. After a successful night last year, we decided to do the same again and enjoyed a evening of fine wines at the Lazy Lounge in Leeds. After tasting three white wines, three reds (one chilled) and a refreshing glass of fizz, we went on to enjoy a delicious cheese board and some chocolate brownies that were to die for. Being more of a white wine girl myself, I even found myself steering towards the chilled red. By the end of the evening it was safe to say we had had a great time, and certainly felt more educated in the world of wine.

We always enjoy spending time with the Leeds JLD, and as always the committee this year didn’t fail to disappoint. We love watching the junior lawyers progress through their training contracts, into their first NQ jobs and beyond, and of course we always like to offer a helping hand along the way. We will be holding NQ careers talks at The Central from 6pm on the 6th of March. NQ placements are already happening this year, and hopefully there will be many more to follow....
