Professional Support Lawyer - Real Estate Location: Manchester Experience Level: 5+ PQE | Type: Permanent | Hours: Full Time A leading UK law firm with a strong national and international presence is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its highly regarded Real Estate practice. This role offers the opportunity to be part of one of the UK's Top 15 Real Estate teams, known for its involvement in high-profile investment, development, and regeneration projects across a broad range of sectors including commercial, residential, logistics, and infrastructure. The Role: Based in Manchester this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative knowledge management function supporting a large national team. Working alongside an experienced Senior PSL and a junior legal knowledge specialist, the successful candidate will help drive the knowledge agenda across the department. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain practice notes and precedents, with a focus on commercial real estate Provide legal updates and support on key developments in legislation, policy, and case law Design and deliver training programmes and internal seminars to support ongoing fee earner development Collaborate with innovation and business transformation teams to integrate legal tech, workflow automation, and AI-driven solutions Support risk and compliance initiatives in collaboration with the General Counsel team Contribute to thought leadership, publications, and client-facing material Maintain relationships with external partners, including HM Land Registry and industry groups About You: A minimum of 5 years' PQE in commercial real estate, ideally with broad exposure to landlord & tenant, asset management, investment, and development work A strong interest or prior experience in a PSL or knowledge-based role (not essential) A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and strategically Experience using legal tech tools, such as document automation or generative AI, to drive process improvement Confident communicator with strong presentation and training delivery skills Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and a desire to support knowledge sharing across the firm Why Apply?
