Environmental Senior Associate- International firm - Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen - 5+ PQE New Environmental role with a leading international firm in their Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen offices. The team can offer exposure to a broad range of environmental matters. The Role * The environment team sits within the market leading national planning & environment team. * The Environment Team experts cover the full range of environmental law and also advise on a wide range of natural capital, climate change and sustainability matters including: Net zero, carbon, biodiversity and natural capital advice, including nature-based solutions, offsetting, and EU /UK ETS compliance; Environmental aspects of major infrastructure consenting and development Regulatory advice e.g. advising on remediation liability, nuclear regulation, water licensing, waste management, environmental permitting, extended producer responsibility · Work as part of a national practice and as well as exposure to pure environment work, you will also have the opportunity to work alongside leading planning lawyers. · Clients include the Environment Agency, The Eden Project, water companies, energy companies, waste/recycling companies and car manufacturers. About You To be successful in your application for this Environmental Senior Associate vacancy, you will have: · 5+ years' PQE in environmental or planning matters. Agricultural/Rural experience may also be considered if sufficiently relevant. · A strong academic background. · A good teamwork ethic and outgoing personality. · Client focused approach with an interest in business development.
