The Opportunity Our client - a highly respected UK law firm - is looking to appoint a Real Estate Solicitor 1-8 PQE to strengthen its expanding Property team. This is a career-enhancing role for a property lawyer with experience in commercial real estate transactions and an interest or background in telecoms property work. You'll be joining a close-knit, collaborative team with an impressive client base, including major telecoms operators, financial institutions, and commercial landlords and tenants. The position offers high levels of responsibility and client contact from day one, as well as tailored support from experienced partners and senior associates across the wider real estate and litigation groups. Key Responsibilities As part of this varied and client-facing role, you'll be involved in: Managing the ongoing portfolio work for key telecoms clients, including lease renewals, acquisitions of phone mast sites, and project-specific volume transactions. Acting on property investment transactions - both acquisitions and disposals - across a range of asset classes. Advising on commercial leases, predominantly on landlord side, as well as acting for tenants. Supporting on property finance matters, typically on behalf of lenders. Taking transactions from start to finish, including drafting documentation, direct client liaison, and negotiation with counterparties. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of your files, develop strong commercial acumen, and enhance your sector knowledge in an area of real estate law that is increasingly in demand. What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from qualified solicitors in Scotland with: 3-6 years' PQE in commercial real estate or telecoms property law. Strong experience in managing property transactions, ideally with exposure to telecoms-related matters. A commercial and solutions-driven mindset with excellent drafting and negotiation skills. The ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of client care. Exceptional communication and time-management skills. A genuine interest in building long-term relationships with clients and supporting the development of junior team members. Why Apply?
