Banking Associate (1-4 PQE) | London £80,000 - £90,000 | Top 50 National firm The Opportunity We're looking to hire an ambitious and dynamic Banking & Finance Associate (1-4 years PQE) to join our client's growing London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate your career in a Top 50 national law firm, working within a collaborative and high-performing team known for its commercial insight and client-first approach. You'll work closely with senior lawyers and partners across our national practice, supporting a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients - including major banks, alternative lenders, corporates, and private equity sponsors. From day one, you'll play a key role in delivering complex transactions and building lasting client relationships. The Work You'll gain exposure to a wide range of banking and finance matters, including: General corporate lending Acquisition finance Real estate finance Asset-based lending (ABL) Project finance You'll be involved in drafting and negotiating key transaction documents such as facility agreements and security documents, managing deals through to completion, and advising clients on legal and commercial risks. What We're Looking For Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, with 1-4 years' post-qualification experience in banking and finance (experience outside this range may be considered). Solid transactional experience, ideally from a recognised banking team at a leading national, international, or boutique firm. A strong technical foundation across a range of lending structures and finance documents. Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A team player with a proactive attitude and a desire to grow professionally.
