Commercial Associate (2-4 PQE) - International law firm - Birmingham An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor with 2-4 years' PQE to join the commercial team of a highly regarded international firm working from the firm's Birmingham office. Work will consist of the highest quality commercial work for clients including FTSE 100 companies, blue chip clients and multi-national corporations both regionally, nationally and globally. The Role: Working as a Commercial Solicitor within an award winning team acting for an enviable client base on strategic contracts globally. Specifically, you may be involved in: · Outsourcing including global facilities, property management and logistics. · Supply chain contracts particularly in the aerospace and automotive sectors for blue chip automotive clients. · Working with the Rail team advising on the biggest matters both here in the UK and increasingly across the globe. · Advising on the commercial aspects of significant regeneration and development projects. · Providing commercial support for transactions undertaken by the firm's corporate and real estate teams. The role is client facing and you would be encouraged to get involved in networking and business development at an early stage. Within the role you would gain exposure to clients in a wide range of private and public sector businesses across a wide range of sectors such as TMT, transport, utilities and industrial engineering on a local, national and international level. Candidate Requirements: As a Commercial Solicitor in the team, you should have a solid grounding in commercial contracts with at least two years' post qualification experience. Technically strong with good drafting and negotiation skills. Personable and ambitious with a passion for the law. Good client facing and networking skills. Strong links to Birmingham.
