Real Estate Solicitor - Development/Regeneration | Senior/Principal Associate | International Law Firm | Birmingham | Hybrid Working BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a top-tier international law firm in their search for a Senior or Principal Associate to join their market-leading Regenration team which forms part of their larger Residential Development team, based in Birmingham. This is a standout opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile and complex housing and regeneration projects in the UK, acting for both public and private sector clients on nationally significant schemes. The Role: As a Senior/Principal Associate in this highly regarded team, you will: * Advise on large-scale residential-led regeneration schemes with mixed-use components, including acquisitions, site assembly, development agreements, joint ventures, and related structuring. * Work with a diverse client base including major housebuilders, developers, local authorities, central government, and institutional investors. * Handle complex land and property transactions, providing strategic advice at all stages of the development life cycle. * Gain exposure to public sector law, including procurement, governance and public subsidy-prior experience is not required. * Be deeply involved in some of the most ambitious development projects in the country, including long-term landmark schemes. * Support junior colleagues, supervise where appropriate, and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice. * Collaborate closely with other teams including planning, construction, corporate and tax to deliver a seamless service to clients. Candidate Requirements: The successful candidate will have: * A minimum of 3 years' PQE in commercial property, development or related real estate work. * A demonstrable interest in housing-led regeneration and the ambition to build a long-term career in the sector. * Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to advise confidently on complex development structures. * The ability to work well both independently and as part of a wider, multidisciplinary team. * A client-focused mindset and enthusiasm for becoming involved in high-impact development projects, such as Brent Cross Town, the London Cancer Hub and London Film Studios.
