Contentious Construction Solicitor / Associate / Senior Associate / Managing Associate | 0-8+ PQE | Top 50 UK Law Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a leading Top 50 UK law firm in their search for a Contentious Construction Solicitor to join their well-established and growing national Construction & Engineering team. With flexibility to recruit at Solicitor, Associate, Senior Associate, or Managing Associate level, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team based in Birmingham, with hybrid working options. The Role As part of the construction disputes team, you will: · Advise on a wide range of contentious construction and engineering matters, including adjudications, TCC litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. · Work with a diverse client base, including employers, contractors, consultants, funds, and public sector organisations. · Manage your own caseload and/or support national-level disputes, depending on experience. · Engage in business development and contribute to client relationship management initiatives. · Work within a friendly, experienced, and supportive team environment that encourages collaboration and career development. About You The successful candidate will: · Be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with experience in contentious construction, or a mix of contentious and advisory work. · Have trained and/or worked within a recognised construction or commercial litigation team. · Possess strong legal drafting and analysis skills, with a commercially focused mindset. · Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for construction law. · Be committed to continuous development and delivering high standards of client service.
