Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate | 6+ PQE | National Law Firm | Birmingham (Hybrid Working) A top-tier national law firm is looking to recruit a Real Estate Associate or Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its expanding national real estate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to handle high-calibre development work - with some exposure to real estate finance - while being supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking national practice. The Role You'll be part of a high-performing real estate team involved in a broad spectrum of development and finance-led property transactions. This is a client-facing role offering significant scope for career progression, including opportunities to supervise junior team members and work closely with colleagues in planning, construction, corporate, banking, and litigation. Your responsibilities will include: · Advising on the acquisition and disposal of residential and commercial development sites · Drafting and negotiating development funding agreements, including forward funding arrangements · Acting for lenders on real estate finance transactions, conducting due diligence and managing conditions precedent · Supporting corporate transactions by advising on the property aspects of M&A deals, including share and asset sales · Handling the sale and disposal of investment properties with occupational leases · Drafting and negotiating leases on behalf of institutional landlords and tenants You'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to clients and contributing to the firm's ongoing business development and strategic growth.
