Commercial Projects (Regeneration) Associate | 1-3 PQE | Top National Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top ranked national law firm seeking an Associate to join its Commercial Projects (Regeneration) team in Birmingham. This opportunity is offered on a full-time or part-time (4 days a week) permanent basis, with flexible and hybrid working as standard. Excellent salary and benefits on offer. The Role As an Associate in this Commercial Projects team, you will: · Join a market-leading regeneration and infrastructure practice advising on major housing-led, mixed-use and town centre schemes. · Work closely with public sector clients and their private/third sector partners on complex, high-value projects, often involving joint ventures and innovative delivery models. · Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial and transactional documentation. · Lead and coordinate input across multi-disciplinary legal teams, including real estate, construction, planning and finance. · Provide strategic and advisory input on areas such as procurement and project delivery. · Be encouraged to engage in business development, profile raising and attending sector events to enhance client relationships and market presence. About You To be successful in your application for this Associate role, you will have: · 1-3 years' PQE in commercial projects, regeneration, real estate development or similar public sector-focused transactional work. · A background advising public bodies, or those who contract with them, is highly advantageous. · Strong drafting and project management skills across complex matters. · An interest in working on multi-stakeholder, strategically important regeneration projects. · A collaborative and commercial mindset, able to work across departments and with external advisors.
