Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor | Associate/Senior Associate 3+ | Top Ranked National Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top ranked national law firm seeking a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate) with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to join its leading construction team in Birmingham. This construction law opportunity is offered on a full or part-time (4 days a week), permanent basis with flexible working options accommodated and hybrid working as standard. The Role As a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor in this team, you would: · Join a nationally recognised and award-winning construction practice with strength across a range of sectors including retail, housing, student accommodation, energy, infrastructure, and regeneration. · Advise major national and international clients, including developers, funders, government bodies, and contractors on the full spectrum of transactional construction matters. · Draft and negotiate a range of construction documentation including JCT and NEC contracts, professional appointments, warranties, and framework agreements. · Work alongside colleagues in real estate, corporate, commercial, and planning to support major development projects across the UK and overseas. About You To be successful in your application for this Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor vacancy, you will have: · A minimum of 3 years' PQE with strong experience in non-contentious construction law gained in private practice or in-house. · A solid grounding in drafting and negotiating construction contracts and providing strategic project advice. · A strong academic background and excellent attention to detail. · A commercial mindset and a collaborative, proactive approach to client service.
