This is a full-time, permanent position based in Birmingham, with hybrid working as standard. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Real Estate practices, ranked among the top 15 in the country by The Lawyer. The successful candidate will join a progressive, innovation-driven knowledge team and play a key role in shaping how the firm's commercial property lawyers work now, and in the future. This is not a traditional PSL role. The firm is looking for someone forward-thinking and commercially aware, who can support the development of efficient, future-ready ways of working and help drive innovation across the practice. The Role As a Professional Support Lawyer in the Real Estate team, your responsibilities will include: · Creating and maintaining a suite of precedents, guidance notes, and know-how, with a focus on commercial property (e.g., landlord and tenant, asset management, investment, development). · Developing and implementing automated and AI-powered tools to support smarter working. · Designing and delivering a robust training programme for fee earners, including workshops and interactive sessions. · Providing regular updates on key legal developments, legislative changes, and best practice. · Collaborating with colleagues across Innovation, Business Transformation, Risk, and Marketing teams. · Supporting external engagement through content creation and industry partnerships. About You To be successful in your application for this Professional Support Lawyer role, you will have: · At least 5 years' PQE in commercial real estate, with recent fee-earning experience. · A solid grounding in landlord and tenant matters, development, and investment work. · A genuine interest in legal innovation, automation, and improving service delivery. · Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills. · A strategic mindset, with the confidence to lead and influence change across the team. · Prior PSL experience is welcomed but not essential if you're committed to transitioning into a knowledge-focused role.
