BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top-ranked international law firm seeking an Associate to join its Core Real Estate team in Birmingham. This Real Estate Solicitor opportunity is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with hybrid working as standard and flexible working arrangements available. Excellent salary and benefits on offer.
The Role
As a Real Estate Associate in this high-performing team, you would:
· Join a Tier 1 ranked real estate team (Legal 500 / Chambers & Partners) known for advising major corporate clients across sectors including financial services, consumer, health, and industrials.
· Run your own transactions from start to finish, including drafting and negotiating complex documents such as lease acquisitions, development agreements, options, certificates of title, high value disposals and HQ transactions.
· Supervise and support junior colleagues on smaller transactions including lease renewals, easements, assignments, surrenders, transfers and licences.
· Support senior colleagues on managing key client relationships and assist with client reporting and training.
· Investigate complex title issues, report on title and negotiate key transactional documents.
· Play an active role in client development and contribute to profile-raising activities.
About You
To be successful in your application for this Real Estate Associate vacancy, you will have:
· A minimum of 4 years' PQE in commercial real estate, with solid experience running your own matters and supporting on larger transactions.
· Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and drafting skills.
· A proactive, client-focused approach with a commercial mindset.
· A collaborative and inclusive working style.
· A genuine interest in developing your real estate expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment.
