Corporate Senior Associate | 4+ PQE | National Law Firm | Birmingham | Hybrid Working A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven corporate solicitor to work on complex, high-value transactions in a team that advises a broad range of clients, from fast-growth startups to international businesses and institutions. With a strong national presence and a thriving Birmingham office, the team works collaboratively across a wide range of corporate matters including M&A, private equity, venture capital, fundraising, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures and general corporate advisory work. The Role As a Senior Associate, you will: · Take the lead on M&A and other corporate transactions, managing the day-to-day running of deals. · Work on a broad range of corporate work including private equity, venture capital, and strategic advisory matters. · Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's other UK offices to deliver on cross-office matters. · Play an active role in business development initiatives, including networking, pitching and marketing campaigns. · Help supervise and mentor junior lawyers, supporting their ongoing development. · Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Corporate team in Birmingham. About You The ideal candidate will have: · At least 4 years' PQE in corporate law, ideally gained at a national, international, or well-regarded regional firm. · Strong experience in M&A, with exposure to private equity or venture capital work being an advantage. · Confidence in managing transactions independently with senior support where needed. · A proactive, commercial approach with a genuine interest in a broad range of corporate work. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative working style. · A desire to take on responsibility, contribute to team growth, and build lasting client relationships.
