The Firm & Team · Prestigious national firm with a standout mid-tier construction practice. · Diverse client portfolio, including funders, employers, contractors, sub-contractors, and professional consultants. · Involvement in a wide variety of high-value and high-profile projects across sectors such as education, residential, leisure, and sport. · The team advises on mediations, adjudications, arbitration, litigation, and all forms of ADR. · Exposure to complex work on both a national and international scale. The Role · The construction team handles both contentious and non-contentious matters; however, this particular opportunity is focused on contentious construction. · Those interested in maintaining a mixed caseload can also be supported. · You'll work closely with a respected team of construction specialists on a broad range of disputes, with excellent partner access and mentoring. The Candidate · Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or other common law jurisdiction). · Minimum of 4 years' PQE, with solid experience in contentious construction matters. · Experience in professional negligence claims would be advantageous. · Strong team player with a commitment to excellent client service. · Confident in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers. · Capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships, while developing new business opportunities.
