Real Estate Solicitor (Senior/Principal Associate level) | 4+/8+ PQE | National Law Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top-ranked national law firm in seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join its team in Birmingham at the senior or principal associate level. This opportunity is offered on a full or part-time (4 days a week), permanent basis with flexible working options accommodated and hybrid working as standard. The Role As a Real Estate Solicitor in this real estate team, you would: · Work with a diverse, national operator client base, including pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, late-night venues, and wider leisure brands. · Advise on freehold and leasehold site acquisitions and disposals, development and pre-let arrangements, and portfolio re-gears. · Manage day-to-day estate management, including leases, licences, variations, easements, and ancillary agreements. · Gain exposure to operator-specific issues such as TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances, and licensing/regulatory matters, with support from specialists as needed. · Collaborate seamlessly across the firm's UK offices, benefiting from an integrated model that brings together real estate, corporate, employment, tax, planning, IP & media, and disputes expertise. · Be encouraged to build client relationships and develop your own network, with strong support in progressing your career. About You To be successful in your application for this Real Estate Solicitor vacancy, you will have: · A minimum of 4 years' PQE in real estate law at the Senior Associate level or 8+ years' experience at the Principal Associate level, ideally with exposure to the drinks, hospitality, and leisure sectors. · Experience in freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals and estate management. · A proven track record in advising clients on complex commercial real estate matters. · A client-focused attitude with a strong teamwork ethic.
