Real Estate Energy Associate | 2+ PQE | International Law Firm | Birmingham A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor with a focus on energy and renewable projects to join its Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure team in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance office presence with remote working. The Role As a Real Estate Energy Associate within this Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure team, you will: · Advise on renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen, and heat networks. · Support landowners and charge point operators in the growing EV charging infrastructure sector, covering areas such as site acquisition, leasing, planning, regulatory compliance, and grid connection. · Draft and negotiate real estate documents for commercial, mixed-use, regeneration, and ESG-linked investment projects. · Provide advice on land due diligence, title, access, riparian rights, and specialist property matters such as foreshore rights or hydroponic agriculture. · Work closely with clients, including energy developers, infrastructure investors, charge point operators, real estate funds, and local authorities. · Collaborate with colleagues across real estate, energy, construction, regulatory, and finance teams to provide integrated solutions. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: · 2+ years PQE (qualified solicitor in England & Wales and/or Scotland). · Strong experience in commercial real estate law, ideally with an interest or experience in the energy or renewables sector. · Excellent drafting and negotiation skills. · A proven ability to manage complex transactions and work with multiple stakeholders. · Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams to provide integrated legal advice.
