Real Estate Solicitor - Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure | International Law Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid | 0-2 PQE BCL Legal is pleased to assist a leading national law firm in their search for a talented Real Estate Associate to join their Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor to work on high-profile regeneration and infrastructure projects within the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors, working with a diverse client base, including national and local government bodies, as well as public-private partnerships. The Opportunity: As part of this dynamic and forward-thinking team, you'll be exposed to a variety of property-related legal matters, working on large-scale regeneration and infrastructure projects across the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines, providing essential legal support and advice on major projects. Your responsibilities will include: · Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property agreements, including leases, easements, wayleaves, licenses, and land acquisition documents. · Advising on land rights, conducting due diligence, and resolving title issues. · Supporting land access and property rights for infrastructure projects, such as energy grid upgrades and utility installations. · Assisting with land assembly and securing necessary consents for utility projects. · Negotiating third-party rights and consents related to infrastructure development. · Advising on infrastructure agreements, land access strategies, and energy-related projects. · Providing legal project management support, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of services. What We're Looking For: We are looking for a qualified solicitor with 0-2 years PQE who has a strong interest in commercial real estate law, particularly in the regeneration, development, and infrastructure sectors. You'll need to be comfortable working on a range of legal matters, collaborating with clients, and gaining exposure to both public and private sector clients. Key requirements include: · 0-2 PQE as a qualified solicitor in England & Wales. · A genuine interest in or exposure to commercial real estate law, particularly in the context of regeneration, development, or infrastructure projects. · Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. · Ability to manage a variety of legal matters while working effectively with multiple stakeholders. · A collaborative, team-focused approach to working across different practice areas.
