Commercial Associate (2+ PQE) | Leading International Firm | Birmingham (Hybrid) BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a leading international law firm with the recruitment of a Commercial Associate to join its growing national Commercial team. The Opportunity You will join a dynamic and collaborative team working alongside experienced Partners on a wide range of commercial matters. The team advises an impressive roster of household-name clients across both the public and private sectors. The role also offers the chance to work within a team at the forefront of innovation, with a strong focus on technology, including cutting-edge developments in AI and new delivery models for legal services. Typical matters include: · Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts · Supporting large-scale outsourcing, supply chain and strategic projects · Advising on day-to-day commercial issues for key clients · Contributing to innovative delivery solutions and process improvements · Building strong client relationships across sectors including retail, technology, sport, manufacturing, education and the public sector · You will also collaborate closely with colleagues across Corporate and other practice areas on complex, multi-disciplinary matters. About You We are keen to hear from England & Wales qualified lawyers with circa 2+ years' PQE who can demonstrate: · A strong grounding in commercial contracts work · Excellent drafting and negotiation skills · Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach · A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team-based working · An interest in innovation, technology and new ways of delivering legal services · Experience gained within a well-regarded commercial practice is desirable.
