Real Estate Senior Associate or Principal Associate | 6+ PQE | Leading National Law Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid
BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top ranked national law firm seeking a Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join its Real Estate team in Birmingham. This Real Estate Solicitor opportunity is offered on a full or part-time (4 days a week), permanent basis with flexible working options accommodated and hybrid working as standard. The Role
As a Real Estate Solicitor in this team, you would:
· Work within one of the UK's leading real estate practices on a broad range of non-contentious commercial property matters including leases, licences, joint ventures, mergers, leasebacks, sales, purchases, shared services, collaborations, refurbishments and (re)development projects.
· Manage your own varied caseload while also supporting partners on complex, high-value real estate transactions.
· Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within a collaborative national team environment.
· Advise a diverse client base across both the private and public sectors, including major institutions and organisations.
· Work closely with colleagues across corporate, construction, planning, disputes, tax, environmental and procurement teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
· Support the Corporate & Commercial group by providing real estate input on corporate transactions, finance matters and strategic projects.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships with organisations including universities, healthcare providers, public sector bodies and corporate occupiers.
About You
To be successful in your application for this Real Estate vacancy, you will have:
· A minimum of 6 years' PQE with a strong emphasis on commercial real estate.
· Experience managing non-contentious commercial property matters, ideally including complex transactions.
· A proven ability to run files independently and support on high-value or strategic real estate projects.
· Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
· A strong academic background and excellent teamwork ethic.
