Real Estate Associate - Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure | Birmingham/Hybrid Working | 3+ PQE | International Law Firm
A leading international law firm is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Real Estate Associate to join its Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile regeneration and infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. You'll be advising public and private sector clients on major projects that have a significant national impact.
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Associate with 3+ years of PQE to work alongside a dynamic team on large-scale regeneration, infrastructure, and utility projects. You will play an integral role in advising clients on a wide range of property-related legal matters, contributing to high-value projects that shape cities and communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key property agreements, such as leases, easements, wayleaves, licences, and land acquisition documents.
· Advising on land rights, title issues, and conducting due diligence.
· Supporting land access and property rights for major infrastructure projects, such as energy grid upgrades and utility installations.
· Assisting with land assembly and securing necessary consents for utility and energy projects.
· Negotiating third-party rights and consents for infrastructure development.
· Providing legal project management support to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a qualified solicitor with a strong background in commercial real estate law, ideally with experience in the regeneration, development, and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will be a proactive, solutions-driven lawyer with excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Key Requirements:
· 3+ years PQE as a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
· Solid experience in commercial real estate law, particularly in the context of regeneration, development, or infrastructure.
· Experience working with public sector bodies or in regulated industries.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Ability to manage complex transactions and work collaboratively across different teams.
