A prestigious international law firm is seeking a skilled and commercially astute Senior Real Estate lawyer to join its Regeneration, Development, and Infrastructure team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on high-profile infrastructure and utility projects, providing legal support to both public and private sector clients. The Opportunity:
As a Senior Associate, you will work on complex and varied real estate matters within the regeneration, development, and infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on energy, utilities, and infrastructure projects. You will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating across multiple disciplines to provide comprehensive legal advice on large-scale projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of property agreements, including leases, easements, wayleaves, licences, and land acquisition documents.
· Advising on land rights, title issues, and conducting due diligence, ensuring smooth project delivery.
· Managing land access and property rights for infrastructure development and ongoing maintenance.
· Supporting land assembly for key utility projects, such as grid upgrades and pipeline installations.
· Negotiating and securing third-party rights, consents, and access for large-scale infrastructure projects.
· Providing legal project management to ensure timely and efficient legal services for major projects.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Senior Associate with strong commercial real estate experience, ideally in the context of utilities or infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex transactions and multiple stakeholders while demonstrating a keen understanding of statutory undertaker rights and land law.
Key Requirements:
· Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 6+ years PQE.
· Significant experience in commercial real estate law, particularly with utilities or infrastructure sector projects.
· Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Experience working with public sector bodies or regulated industries.
· Ability to manage complex matters and work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
