Real Estate (Commercial Development & Investment) Senior / Principal Associate | 5+ PQE | Leading International Law Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a leading international law firm seeking to recruit a Senior or Principal Associate into its highly regarded Commercial Development & Investment team in Birmingham. This is a standout opportunity to work on major, high-profile development projects as part of one of the UK's largest and most respected real estate practices. The Opportunity You will join a specialist Commercial Development & Investment team, working on complex, large-scale development schemes alongside experienced Partners and multidisciplinary teams. The role offers a broad mix of development, investment and general commercial property work. Your role will include: · Advising on major, multi-disciplinary development projects across the UK · Drafting and negotiating development agreements, joint ventures and collaboration agreements · Handling options, promotion agreements and complex site assembly matters · Advising on funding arrangements and disposals within development projects · Assisting with acquisitions and disposals of investment assets · Managing lettings, pre-lettings and asset management work · Supporting on general commercial property transactions · Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers · Contributing to business development and client relationship management You'll be part of a team known for delivering technically excellent, commercial and pragmatic advice on some of the UK's most significant real estate developments.
