Real Estate Managing Associate / Legal Director | 6+ PQE | National Law Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a highly regarded national law firm in seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor at Managing Associate or Legal Director level to join its thriving team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded real estate lawyer with a strong interest in development work to join a highly rated and award-winning national practice. The Role As a Real Estate Managing Associate / Legal Director, you would: · Advise on a broad range of complex commercial real estate matters, with a particular focus on development-led transactions. · Work on site acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, strategic land arrangements, mixed-use schemes and regeneration projects. · Advise on investment acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and wider portfolio management work. · Act for a diverse client base including developers, investors, landowners, major corporates and institutional organisations. · Take significant responsibility for high-value and strategically important transactions, working closely with clients and acting as a trusted extension of their in-house teams. · Have the opportunity to develop and strengthen client relationships, with genuine support to build your own network and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. · Work collaboratively within a national real estate team, benefiting from a broad range of expertise and a strong pipeline of high-quality work. · Have the role shaped around your experience and ambitions, with scope for progression and increased responsibility. About You To be successful in your application for this Real Estate Managing Associate / Legal Director vacancy, you will have: · A minimum of 6 years' PQE for Managing Associate level or 9+ years' PQE for Legal Director level. · Strong commercial real estate experience, ideally with a particular focus on development work. · Experience advising on acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, strategic land and/or mixed-use development projects. · The ability to manage complex transactions and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a sophisticated client base. · Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to take an active role in client development. · A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the ambition to contribute to the continued growth and success of a highly regarded national team.
