Real Estate Managing Associate / Legal Director | 6+/9+ PQE | National Law Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a highly regarded national law firm in seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor at Managing Associate or Legal Director level to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused real estate lawyer with a strong interest in investment and traditional real estate work to join a highly rated and award-winning national practice. The Role As a Real Estate Managing Associate / Legal Director, you would: · Advise a diverse client base including institutional investors, pension funds, corporate occupiers, developers and public sector organisations. · Work on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including investment acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant transactions, asset management and portfolio management. · Advise on portfolio acquisitions, refinancing projects and wider strategic real estate matters. · Manage significant and complex property transactions, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice to sophisticated clients. · Build strong client relationships and work closely with clients' in-house legal and property teams, acting as a trusted extension of their business. · Work collaboratively as part of a large, nationally recognised real estate practice, benefiting from an impressive client base and a strong pipeline of high-quality work. · Take an active role in business development and have genuine opportunities to build your profile and develop your own network. · Have the opportunity to shape the role around your experience and ambitions, with scope for progression and increased responsibility. About You To be successful in your application for this Real Estate Managing Associate / Legal Director vacancy, you will have: · A minimum of 6 years' PQE for Managing Associate level or 9+ years' PQE for Legal Director level. · Strong commercial real estate experience, ideally with a particular focus on investment and traditional real estate work. · Experience in investment acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, asset management and/or portfolio management. · The ability to manage complex commercial property transactions and provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice. · Experience working with sophisticated clients, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. · A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the ambition to contribute to the continued growth of the team and develop strong client relationships.
