A leading UK law firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate (2+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Tax & Structuring team, working in their Leeds office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically proficient lawyer to work as part of a national team delivering first-rate tax advice on a wide variety of corporate, real estate, finance, and employment matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collegiate team operating as a single, cross-office unit. The team advises a wide-ranging client base, including entrepreneurs, management teams, owner-managed businesses, FTSE 100 corporates, and institutions.
Key areas of focus include:
-Corporate M&A and private equity transactions
-Real estate, development, and property management tax matters
-Project finance, restructuring, and banking tax work
-Standalone tax advisory work and transaction support
-Optional involvement in employee share incentives and related advisory work

Key Responsibilities:
Providing tax support on a range of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, reorganisations, and financings
Drafting and negotiating tax provisions and reviewing transaction documents, including SPAs
Advising on real estate tax matters in collaboration with the property team
Delivering clear, commercially focused tax advice to clients
Engaging with business development, know-how, and training initiatives within the team
Building strong internal and client-facing relationships
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a respected corporate tax practice (or equivalent), although strong candidates with less experience will be considered
Solid understanding of corporate tax law and experience across a range of transactions
A commercial, pragmatic approach with strong communication and drafting skills
Confidence working as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
Willingness to contribute to training, knowledge-sharing, and client development initiatives
Experience with employee incentives is advantageous but not essential
