We're working in partnership with a prestigious UK law firm looking to expand its award-winning non-contentious construction practice in Manchester(with the option to pick up contentious work if desired) This is a rare opportunity for a legally qualified professional (NQ-2 PQE) to join a collaborative and dynamic team at the forefront of the UK's most innovative development and infrastructure projects. The Opportunity: You'll advise an impressive portfolio of clients, including household names, across a diverse range of non-contentious construction matters. The role spans high-profile development and infrastructure schemes, corporate real estate transactions, property finance deals, and process plant projects. Working closely with experienced partners-many of whom bring invaluable in-house insight-you'll gain exposure to strategic, complex work from day one. There is genuine scope for career progression, mentorship responsibilities, and the option to broaden into contentious construction matters, should you wish. Key Responsibilities: Advising clients on a broad range of non-contentious construction law matters. Drafting and negotiating industry-standard construction contracts including JCT and NEC. Supporting real estate and corporate teams on transactions involving construction elements. Advising on process plant and infrastructure project documentation. Working with a mix of private and public sector clients including developers, contractors, and funders. Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships. The Candidate: We welcome applications from qualified solicitors (England & Wales) with: 0-2 years' post-qualification experience in construction law (non-contentious focus preferred). Strong understanding of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC. Background in private practice or in-house legal teams in the construction/engineering sector.
