I am currently instructed on a standout opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading Housing Development and Regeneration team in Leeds. This role sits within one of the UK's largest and most respected Real Estate practices, known nationally for its strength in residential development and regeneration work.
With a strategic base in Leeds, this team is driving housing-led regeneration across the North and offers an exciting platform for an experienced solicitor ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You'll be joining a nationally recognised team acting for some of the biggest names in the sector, including major housebuilders, high-profile developers, public sector bodies, and landowners. The work is high-value, complex and varied - covering everything from land acquisitions and joint ventures to large-scale regeneration projects and strategic land work.
Key Highlights
· Client base: Major housebuilders, national developers, councils, and landowners.
· Scope of work: Site acquisitions and disposals, overage, JV and collaboration agreements, planning/infrastructure, regeneration, institutional investment, and more.
· Leadership: Work closely with a highly regarded Partner and an established team of fee earners, with scope to grow into a leadership role.
· Support: Dedicated plot sales team - this is a pure development role with no residential conveyancing.

The Ideal Candidate
· Qualified solicitor- Associate or Senior Associate level
· Solid experience in residential development or related commercial real estate work.
· Strong client-facing skills with a commercial mindset.
· Desire to grow a leadership role within the northern region.
· Enthusiastic, proactive and a genuine team player.
