Corporate Associate - 1-3 PQE | Leeds Award-Winning Corporate Team | Exciting Career Development | High-Value Clients A nationally respected, award-winning corporate team is seeking an ambitious Corporate Associate (1-3 PQE) to join their Leeds office. The team advises clients ranging from entrepreneurs and SMEs to financial institutions and FTSE 100 businesses, across a wide variety of corporate matters. About the Team Over 70 corporate lawyers across 13 UK offices. Expertise in M&A, disposals, fundraising, private equity, ECM, due diligence, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, reorganisations, and corporate governance. Recognised for delivering high-value transactions across sectors including healthcare, private equity, technology, and retail. Collaborative, commercially driven, and nationally respected, blending regional insight with national legal expertise. The Role You will: Work across the full spectrum of corporate matters, including M&A, shareholders' agreements, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Be encouraged to build your own client relationships from an early stage, supported by a team committed to helping you progress your career. Collaborate across multiple offices and act as an integral part of a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver consistently high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service. Demonstrate commercial awareness and effective financial management, including accurate time recording, billing, and WIP management. Actively contribute to business development and support the growth and retention of client relationships. Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and ensure compliance with SRA competence standards. Take ownership of personal development, including soft skills and interpersonal growth. About You 1-3 PQE with relevant corporate experience. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of client business and industry. A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to embody the firm's values. Collaborative and motivated to contribute to a high-performing team environment.
