Corporate Associate / Senior Associate / Principal Associate Leeds | 2+ PQE A leading international law firm is looking to recruit a Corporate lawyer to join its highly regarded Leeds-based Corporate team. The role is open at Associate through to Principal Associate level, offering an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers seeking high-quality transactional work within a genuinely global platform. The Team & Work The Corporate team advises a broad range of public and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity houses on a wide spectrum of matters, including: Mergers and acquisitions Private equity transactions Equity capital markets Corporate reorganisations and strategic projects The team is consistently ranked among the top firms for UK, European, and global M&A activity and is known for handling a high volume of complex, cross-border transactions. The Leeds team, in particular, boasts an enviable regional client base alongside exposure to international mandates and global client relationships. Lawyers in the team benefit from a unique blend of local client work and international deal exposure, with opportunities for client secondments and placements in other UK and overseas offices. The Role The role is primarily transactional, with a strong focus on M&A, alongside exposure to equity capital markets, private equity, and reorganisations. While cross-border experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. You will be encouraged to play an active role in business development, build strong relationships across the firm nationally and internationally, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. The Ideal Candidate 2+ years' PQE in Corporate law Strong general M&A experience Ability to manage multiple transactions and work effectively under pressure A collaborative approach with excellent client-facing skills Strong commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development At Senior or Principal Associate level, experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous Why Apply?
