Associate - Health Real Estate- NQ-3 PQE Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working Available) A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an ambitious Associate to join its Health Real Estate team in Liverpool. The Role You will support the delivery of transactional property work for primary care and healthcare clients, taking on early responsibility within a collaborative and supportive environment. The role offers varied work, direct client contact and the opportunity to build a strong profile within a specialist practice area. The Team The Health Real Estate team is widely recognised for its expertise, advising NHS bodies, ICBs, Trusts, primary care providers and private healthcare organisations. The team also acts for key national healthcare institutions and is involved in innovative and strategic projects across the sector. Key Responsibilities Advising on mergers and acquisitions of primary care practices Sale and purchase of healthcare business premises Negotiation of leases and landlord & tenant matters, including sale and leaseback transactions Title investigation and reporting Supporting NHS Trust clients with property portfolio management Drafting deeds of easement, licences and tenancy at will Advising on NHS funding rules relating to primary care premises Supporting wider commercial and joint venture arrangements Client relationship management and business development activity About You Qualified solicitor- NQ-3 PQE Experience in commercial property law (healthcare sector experience advantageous but not essential) Strong landlord and tenant expertise Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail Ability to manage a high-volume caseload to tight deadlines Team-oriented, proactive and commercially minded Enthusiastic about business development and building client relationships What's on Offer The firm offers a highly competitive package, including: Competitive salary and annual bonus 25+ days' annual leave plus additional firm-wide shutdowns Flexible and hybrid working arrangements Enhanced family leave policies and wellbeing support Private medical insurance and health benefits Generous pension and financial wellbeing initiatives Bespoke training and career development A genuinely inclusive and supportive working culture This is a standout opportunity for a commercial property solicitor looking to specialise further within healthcare real estate at a firm known for both its technical excellence and people-first approach.
