Senior Finance PSL - Banking & Finance | 4+ PQE | Flexible Working Options Location: Manchester / Hybrid Working | Full-time / Part-time Options We are working with a leading global law firm looking to expand their highly regarded Banking & Finance team. Following continued success and growth, they are seeking a Senior Finance PSL to support their UK Finance team and play a key role in the development and delivery of knowledge services across a range of complex domestic and international transactions. About the Role In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Finance PSLs and senior partners within the team. You will be responsible for managing and improving team precedents, drafting internal and client-facing updates, coordinating training, and supporting legal technology initiatives. The role also involves sector-critical matters, horizon scanning, and contributing to process improvement efforts across the firm. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who enjoys a mix of technical legal work, knowledge management, and technology-driven solutions, within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will also work with colleagues across Corporate Finance and Commercial Advisory teams, sharing best practices and delivering joint projects. Key Responsibilities Manage and improve team precedents, guidance notes, and toolkits. Produce internal and client-facing bulletins, briefings, and horizon scanning reports. Organise and deliver training materials, including for NQ inductions. Collaborate with the Legal Technology Group to deliver innovative legal solutions for the finance team. Lead on key sector matters, providing strategic insight and support. Assist with ad hoc queries and contribute to firm-wide process improvement initiatives. Skills & Experience At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in banking law, ideally with a focus on Corporate Debt/Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, or Energy & Infrastructure Finance. Strong interest in legal technology and knowledge of the tools available in the market. Creative, proactive, and collaborative, with a focus on continuous improvement. Excellent technical skills with an eye for detail and strong legal writing capabilities.
