We are currently partnering with a leading construction law practice that is looking to expand its non-contentious team in Manchester at the senior level.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded construction practice at a pivotal point in its growth. The Manchester office is expanding alongside the wider firm, with increased demand for high-quality non-contentious construction work across a strong national client base.
The role sits within a high-performing team advising on major development and infrastructure projects, offering exposure to top-tier work within a collaborative and well-structured environment.
The position forms part of the firm's long-term succession planning, with a clear need within the team and a defined pathway for progression, including genuine opportunities through to Partner level.
What You'll Do:
· Advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters across major development and infrastructure projects.
· Draft, review, and negotiate construction documentation including professional appointments, building contracts, and related project agreements.
· Support high-value, complex transactions for a range of national clients.
· Work closely with senior lawyers and Partners on significant mandates.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Manchester office.
· Play an active role in mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Senior-level construction solicitor with strong non-contentious experience.
· Proven background advising on complex construction and infrastructure projects.
· Excellent drafting, negotiation, and technical skills.
· Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience.
· Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress within a growing team.
· Experience working on high-value development projects is essential.
