Banking & Finance Associate/ Senior Associate | Manchester
We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Banking & Finance Associate/Senior Associate to join a highly regarded and market-leading banking team in Manchester.
About the Role:
The team advises a broad range of major UK banks and alternative lenders on a variety of complex banking and finance matters. The practice has an excellent reputation in the market and is recognised for delivering high-quality work across the banking and finance sector.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of transactions, including acquisition finance, property finance, asset-based lending, restructuring, and refinancing work, acting for both traditional lenders and alternative finance providers.
What You'll Do:
· Advise clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, property finance, asset-based lending, restructuring, and refinancing transactions.
· Draft and negotiate facility agreements, including bilateral and syndicated facilities, alongside associated banking documentation.
· Lead and support complex banking transactions from inception through to completion.
· Manage transactions and coordinate with clients, counterparties, and overseas lawyers where required.
· Supervise and support junior team members.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key banking clients and intermediaries.
· Support business development and marketing initiatives across the North West and wider UK market.

The Ideal Candidate:
· Strong experience across banking and finance matters gained within a reputable law firm.
· Experience advising on a range of financing transactions and banking documentation.
