Corporate Associate / Senior Associate - 2+ PQE | Liverpool
We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join a well-regarded and growing Corporate practice in Liverpool.
About the Role:
The team advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, private equity transactions, management buy-outs, shareholder arrangements, corporate restructures, and general corporate advisory work. The practice has an excellent reputation and continues to enjoy sustained growth and a strong flow of high-quality work.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Partners and gain exposure to high-profile transactions, with the opportunity to take on significant responsibility while developing both technical and commercial skills. The team is supportive of business development and offers a clear pathway for career progression.
What You'll Do:
· Advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, private equity transactions, management buy-outs, shareholder arrangements, corporate restructures, and general corporate advisory work.
· Take ownership of a varied and high-quality caseload, providing practical and commercially minded advice.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships, including early client exposure.
· Work closely with senior lawyers and Partners on high-profile transactions.
· Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
· Mentor and support junior members of the team as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
· 2+ PQE with strong experience in corporate law.
· Proven experience handling complex corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and corporate restructuring.
· Excellent technical and commercial awareness.
· Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
· Proactive and commercially minded, with a desire to contribute to business development.
· Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress within a growing team.
