The Opportunity: You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex construction disputes, advising major clients across a variety of sectors. Your work is likely to include: · Construction and engineering disputes · Contractual disputes arising from major projects · Adjudications and other forms of alternative dispute resolution · Litigation and arbitration · Defects and delay claims · Disputes arising from major development and infrastructure projects · Advising on contractual risk and dispute avoidance You will work closely with highly regarded Partners and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to sophisticated clients and complex, high-value construction disputes. The role offers excellent opportunities to take responsibility for your own workstreams while receiving strong support and supervision from experienced lawyers within the team. About You: The ideal candidate will be a NQ-2 PQE Construction Solicitor with experience in, or a strong interest in developing a career within, contentious construction. You will ideally have experience across areas such as: · Construction disputes · Adjudication · Litigation and/or arbitration · Construction and engineering contracts · Defects, delay and disruption claims · Professional negligence · Major development, infrastructure or energy projects Candidates who have trained in a strong construction team and are keen to develop their contentious practice will be particularly well suited. You will be technically strong, commercially minded and keen to work on high-quality matters within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
