We are working with an established and highly regarded commercial law firm in Manchester looking to appoint an experienced Real Estate Finance Solicitor (4+ PQE) to support the continued growth of its practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Finance Solicitor looking to develop their career within an established and growing practice, gaining exposure to a broad range of high-quality finance transactions, acting for an impressive lender client base. The Opportunity: You will work on a varied caseload of real estate finance transactions, advising lenders on a range of commercial property-backed lending matters. Your work is likely to include: · Acting for lenders on a broad range of real estate finance transactions · Assisting with larger, more complex finance deals · Managing smaller transactions independently from instruction through to completion · Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and ancillary finance documentation · Undertaking and managing detailed property due diligence · Advising on commercial property and landlord and tenant matters · Managing transaction timetables and coordinating the wider transaction process · Supervising and supporting junior team members, including NQs and paralegals · Developing and maintaining strong client relationships · Contributing to business development initiatives and cross-referral opportunities You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own matters while working closely with senior members of the team on more complex transactions, developing your technical expertise and commercial understanding. About You: The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE and experience in Real Estate Finance and/or Commercial Property. You will ideally have experience across areas such as: · Real estate finance transactions, preferably acting for lenders · Commercial property transactions · Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documentation · Commercial property due diligence · Landlord and tenant matters · Managing transactions independently and assisting with more complex deals · Supervising and supporting junior lawyers You will be technically strong, commercially minded and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in developing client relationships. You should be comfortable taking ownership of matters, delivering excellent client service and playing an active role in the continued success of the wider team.
