Non-Contentious Construction Associate - 12-Month FTC (Junior-Mid Level) - International Law Firm - London An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a junior to mid-level non-contentious construction lawyer to join a prestigious international law firm in their London office on a 12-month fixed term contract. Our client, a highly respected global firm known for its innovation and sector focus, is seeking an associate with approximately 1-4 years' post-qualification experience to support their busy and growing construction practice. The team is particularly active across the technology, energy, and infrastructure sectors, advising clients on a broad range of complex and high-value construction and engineering projects. The Role: - Advising on a full spectrum of non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke contracts (including NEC, JCT, FIDIC). - Supporting senior lawyers and partners on major infrastructure and development projects both in the UK and internationally. - Acting for a diverse client base, including developers, contractors, funders, and end-users. - Opportunity to gain exposure to cutting-edge work across sectors such as energy transition, technology-driven infrastructure, and large-scale commercial development. Requirements: - Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1-4 years' PQE (other levels may be considered). - Strong non-contentious construction experience gained at a leading City or international law firm. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills. - A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy and supportive team.
